Management Controller node


A Management Controller node is used to model a device integrated into a larger device which provides remote control and information about the larger device, for example, iDRAC, iLOM, and CIMC.

Management Controller Lifecycle

The following section describes the scenarios in which a Management Controller is created, updated or removed.

Creation

Management Controller nodes are created in exactly the same way as Host nodes.

Update

Management Controller nodes are updated in exactly the same way as Host nodes.

Removal

Management Controller nodes are removed in exactly the same way as Host nodes.
