RHEV
Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) is a Red Hat Inc.'s server virtualization platform that includes the following components:
- RHEV Manager, (also known as the RHEV-M)
A management console that provides web and programming interfaces for managing virtual machines (VMs) running on physical nodes. - RHEV-H hypervisorAn open source cross-platform (due to the web UI) kernel-based virtual machine (KVM) hypervisor is integrated into the Linux kernel. The nodes can be configured either with the RHEV-H hypervisor or as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers with a virtualization entitlement.
RHEV does not announce any specific storage requirements, however it contains a central storage repository.
