Podman

Important

As part of ongoing improvements to container discovery, we deprecated and discontinued the Podman.tpl pattern in TKU June 2025. However, starting with TKU August 2025, the corresponding containerd SoftwareInstance will be modeled under the unified module — Containerization.SoftwareContainers.

Additionally, moving forward:

  • All containers and images discovered by using an IP scan will be modeled by Containerization.SoftwareContainers.
  • All containers and images discovered by a Kubernetes API Provider scan will be modeled by KubernetesFunctions.
  • All SoftwareContainer nodes will be of the Linux Container type.
