TKU May 2012

The following improvements were made:

  • Changed the trigger process to ora_mrp, which is the Oracle Data Guard managed recovery process.
  • Updated the pattern to create a link between the primary Oracle instance and STANDBY Data Guard SI and to not create Data Guard SI on the primary host.

TKU April 2013

The following improvements were made:

  • Added a check if the Active Data Guard feature is enabled.
  • SI type changes depending on SQL results (US136447).
  • Added linking to the TNS Listener if Oracle Data Guard works with it (TKU-1822).

Updated the pattern to add the _data_guard_role attribute to the STANDBY Oracle Instance (TKU-1919).

TKU February 2016

The following improvements were made:

  • Added support for cluster awareness to the pattern module (DRDC1-4731).
  • Updated the pattern to get triggered by an ora_mrp_* or ora_nsv_* process (DRDC1-4731).
  • The _data_guard_role attribute on Oracle Database Server SI is now initially populated through the database_role value from the v$database query (DRDC1-4731).
  • Added Oracle credential support for the known virtual IP with no port.
