TKU May 2009

The following improvements were made:

  • Added an additional path versioning method.
  • The SI key group for the PowerCenter Server is now constructed either from trigger process arguments or trigger process path (if arguments are not retrieved). The SI key group for the PowerCenter Repository Server is now constructed from the trigger process path.

TKU February 2010

Modified the key group. The process arguments are now hashed before being added to the key, which ensures that the key is always of a sensible length.

TKU August 2010

Enhanced the SI key creation within the Informatica PowerCenter Server pattern to reflect the number of running instances. The SI key is now based on the path to the trigger process (if this path is absolute), or alternatively, the pattern will create an SI without an explicit key (a footprint SI).

The following improvements were made:

  • Enhnaced the Informatica PowerCenter discovery.
  • The SI key now contains information about the domains.infra file used as a source.
  • The SI name now contains the information about domains.
  • Enhanced install root retrieval.
  • The pattern now builds communication relationships with the related processes.

Deprecated privilege command execution configuration through the pattern configuration block. A recommended method is the BMC Atrium Discovery platform configuration.
