Important

As part of ongoing improvements to container discovery, we deprecated and discontinued the CRI-O.tpl pattern in TKU June 2025. However, starting with TKU August 2025, the corresponding containerd SoftwareInstance will be modeled under the unified module — Containerization.SoftwareContainers.

Additionally, moving forward:

  • All containers and images discovered by using an IP scan will be modeled by Containerization.SoftwareContainers.
  • All containers and images discovered by a Kubernetes API Provider scan will be modeled by KubernetesFunctions.
  • All SoftwareContainer nodes will be of the Linux Container type.
