Technology Knowledge Update TKU 2025-Nov-1 contains additional product content for the 23.3, 24.1, 24.2, 24.3, and 25.2 versions of BMC Discovery.

Feature updates
The following features and enhancements are introduced within the scope of this release:
- CLOUD/AWS: Added a new region — New Zealand (ap-southeast-6). For more details, see the documentation here and (DRDC1-27580).
- CLOUD/AWS: Updated the pattern to properly run a cloud discovery for the Malaysia region. For more details, see (DRDC1-27708).
- CLOUD/GCP: Added new GCP VirtualMachine attributes (for more details, see the documentation here and (DRDC1-27168):

- CLOUD/OCI: Added support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Network Firewall. For more details, see the documentation here and (DRDC1-26916).
- CLOUD/OCI: Added support for the discovery of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Domain Name System (DNS). For more details, see the documentation here and (DRDC1-26922).
- CLOUD/OCI: Added policies for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to specify user permissions and conditions of accessing OCI cloud resources. For more details, see the documentation here and (DRDC1-26924).
- CMDB SYNC: Added a relationship between AdminCollection and BusinessApplicationInstance, BusinessService, and TechnicalService. For more details, see (DRDC1-27385).
- NETWORK DEVICES/Cisco Meraki:
- Added HTTP proxy configuration for Meraki Dashboard API Credentials; see (DRDC1-27250).
- Resolved an issue with Meraki Dashboard API discovery due to a failing API token taken from the CyberArk Credential Provider; see (DRDC1-26970).
- NETWORK DEVICES/Palo Alto Networks and F5 Network Devices: Improved linkage between the Network Device and the related Virtual Machine. For more details, see (DRDC1-27353).
- PROCESSORS: Added support for the discovery of the Raspberry PI processor. For more details, see the documentation here and (DRDC1-24337).
- STORAGE: Added support for a new tape library — Fujitsu Eternus LT260. For more details, see (DRDC1-27525).
- STORAGE: We now properly discover Brocade switches and Fibre Channel Ports. For more details, see (DRDC1-27438).
Defects
The following defects are fixed within the scope of this release:
- CLOUD/AZURE: Fixed an ECA error reported by the Microsoft Azure Firewall during Azure cloud discovery. For more details, see (DRDC1-27507).
- CLOUD/GCP: Resolved an issue with missing Google Kubernetes Engine hosts. For more details, see (DRDC1-27632).
- CLOUD/OCI: Fixed an ECA error related to invalid results reported by ListSubnets. For more information, see (DRDC1-27570).
- KUBERNETES CLUSTERS: Fixed an issue with the separator in the kubernetes-rbac-setup.yaml file. For more details, see the documentationhere and (DRUD1-52755).
- NETWORK DEVICES: Resolved an issue with Meraki Dashboard API discovery due to a failing API token taken from the CyberArk Credential Provider. For more details, see (DRDC1-26970).
- STORAGE/Dell EMC PowerMax Symmetrix (REST): Fixed an issue with duplicate storage systems by adding the disable remote PowerMax discovery option. If it is set to True, no remote systems are discovered, only the local Unisphere systems, which prevents duplicates. For more details, see the documentation here and (DRDC1-26985).
Changes to discovery commands
Discovery commands are unchanged in Product Content 2025-Nov-1.
Model changes
- TAXONOMY: Added an external_ids attribute to the AdminCollection node kind. For more details, see (DRDC1-27276).
