Tintri Storage Systems

Tintri VMstore appliances are discovered via the embedded REST API. Therefore the storage system can be discovered by scanning the storage device. As part of routine discovery, when the Tintri VMstore appliance is encountered, a Tintri storage device node is discovered and added to the BMC Discovery infrastructure using REST API access.  Once discovered, the storage entities are modeled in BMC Discovery.

Prerequisites

  • Requires BMC Discovery v12.0 and higher.
  • Configure credentials type Tintri REST API with an user account that has  access to Tintri VMstore appliance.
