Oracle ZFS Storage Systems (REST)

Oracle ZFS systems are discovered via the embedded Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance RESTful API. The pattern discovers Oracle ZFS storage systems entities by scanning the storage device.

Prerequisites

  • Requires BMC Discovery v12.0 or higher.
  • Oracle ZFS user account with Rest API access:
    1. Create credential of type ‘REST API with basic authentication’ by providing an Oracle ZFS user account.
    2. Directly scan the IP address of the Oracle ZFS storage system.
  • Add port 215 to the permitted HTTPS ports to scan:
    1. Go to Administration > Discovery Configuration.
    2. In the HTTPS Ports field, add 215. The field requires a comma separated list for multiple values.
