Netgear ReadyNAS

Netgear ReadyNAS storage systems are discovered by using SNMP. When an SNMP discovery of an IP address finds a storage entity, a storage device instance is created. The creation or confirmation of the storage device triggers the appropriate storage discovery pattern. The storage discovery pattern continues the discovery of the storage entity. Once discovered, the storage entities are modeled in BMC Discovery.

Prerequisites

  • BMC Discovery v12.1 or later
  • Provide valid credentials for the Netgear ReadyNAS system
  • Scan the IP Address of the Netgear ReadyNAS system
