IBM Spectrum Scale (REST)

IBM Spectrum Scale storage systems are discovered via IBM Spectrum Scale REST API, a software that is installed whether on a Windows or Unix Server. The pattern discovers IBM Spectrum Scale storage systems by scanning the host on which the IBM Spectrum Scale REST API is installed. IBM Spectrum Scale Management GUI must be installed on the host. 

Prerequisites

  • Requires BMC Discovery v12.0 or higher.
  • Provide credential for the host on which the IBM Spectrum Scale Software is running.
  • Create credential of "REST API with basic authentication" type by providing the IBM Spectrum Scale Management GUI user account with read only privileges.
