IBM Spectrum Control storage systems are discovered via IBM Spectrum Control, a software installed on a Windows or Linux Server. The pattern discovers storage systems managed by IBM Spectrum Control by scanning the host on which the IBM Spectrum Control is installed.

Any model supported by IBM Spectrum Control Manager.

Prerequisites

• Requires BMC Discovery v12.0 and higher.
• Port 9569 must be added to the permitted HTTPS ports:

   1. Go to Administration > Discovery Configuration
   2. In the HTTPS Ports field, add 9569. The field requires a comma separated list for multiple values

• Add Host credentials for the host on which the IBM Spectrum Control Software is running.
• Create credential of "IBM Spectrum Control REST API" type by providing the IBM Spectrum Control user account with read only privileges.
