Huawei OceanStor Pacific System (REST)

Huawei OceanStor Pacific Series storage systems are discovered via the embedded OceanStor Pacific RESTful APIs. The pattern discovers the OceanStor Pacific storage systems entities by scanning the storage device.

Prerequisites

  • BMC Discovery v12.0 and higher.
  • One OceanStor Pacific user account with REST API access.

Procedure

  1. Create OceanStor Pacific REST API credentials in BMC Discovery by providing the OceanStor Pacific user account with REST API access (minimum required privilege: read-only)
  2. Directly scan the IP address of the Huawei OceanStor Pacific storage system.
