Prerequisites

  • Requires BMC Discovery v12.0 and higher.
  • OceanStor 9000 user account with REST API access.

Procedure

  1. In BMC Discovery, create credentials of type "Huawei OceanStor REST API" using a user account that has at least read-only access to the OceanStor 9000 REST API.
  2. Scan the IP address of the OceanStor 9000 system.
