Dell EMC PowerVault MD1200/MD2400 DAS Storage Systems (SSH)
Dell EMC PowerVault MD1200 and MD2400 DAS storage systems are discovered through Dell OpenManage Server Administrator.
As part of routine discovery, when Dell OpenManage Server Administrator is detected, a Dell OpenManage software instance is created. The management software is queried to discover any storage entities that it is managing. If storage entities are discovered, they are modeled in BMC Discovery.

Prerequisites
To discover Dell EMC PowerVault MD1200 and MD2400 DAS systems, meet the following requirements:
- BMC Discovery version 12.0 or later.
- Host credentials for the host on which Dell OpenManage Server Administrator is running.
