Cohesity Storage Systems (REST)

Cohesity Storage Systems are discovered using the Cohesity REST API. When a Cohesity REST API discovery of an IP address finds a storage entity, 
a Storage Device node representing the system is created. The creation or confirmation of the Storage Device node triggers the Cohesity Storage Systems (REST) pattern.
The storage discovery pattern continues the discovery of the storage entity using further Cohesity REST API requests to discover the associated storage components. 
Once discovered, the storage entities are modeled in BMC Discovery.

Note

Previously the Cohesity storage systems were discovered as Management Controllers in BMC Discovery. From now on, they will be modeled as Storage Device nodes. The previously discovered Management Controller nodes should be deleted manually.

Prerequisites

  1. Requires BMC Discovery v12.0 and higher.
  2. Cohesity user account with Rest API Access.
