Cohesity Storage Systems (REST)

Cohesity Storage Systems are discovered using the Cohesity REST API. During routine discovery, when a storage entity is identified, BMC Discovery creates a Storage Device node representing the Cohesity storage system and triggers the Cohesity Storage Systems (REST) pattern. The pattern continues the discovery using additional REST API requests to identify associated storage components. Once discovered, the storage entities are modeled in BMC Discovery.

Information
Note

Previously the Cohesity storage systems were discovered as Management Controllers in BMC Discovery. From now on, they will be modeled as Storage Device nodes. The previously discovered Management Controller nodes should be deleted manually.

Supported Platform

Any Cohesity storage systems model.

Prerequisites

  1. BMC Discovery v12.0 and higher.

  4. Click Test.

If your test is successful, scan the IP address of the Cohesity storage system.
