This page details the storage information collected for HyperFlex Storage system discovered in your IT infrastructure.

Storage System Information
To access the collected information for HyperFlex Storage systems:
- From the Home page, locate the Quick View section and click the Storage System icon to display the list of the discovered storage systems.
- In the Storage System list, double-click the HyperFlex storage system you wish to access.
The table below lists the System Storage Information as discovered and displayed in the BMC Discovery console.
Storage System Information | Description |
|---|---|
Name | The name of the storage system. |
Type | The type name of the storage system. |
Vendor | The storage system vendor. |
DNS Domain | The Domain Name System (DNS) of the storage system. |
Model | The model name. |
Serial Number | The storage system serial number. |
Software Version | The version number of the software. |
Total Disk Space | The total available space in the storage system. |
Managed By | The HyperFlex controller host managing the storage system. |
Disk Drives | Displays the number of related disk drives. This is also a link to the Disk Drive List page. To see the disk drive page, click the corresponding table row. Refer to the Disk Drives Information section for details. |
Storage System Groups Information
A storage system group in BMC Discovery represents a set of multiple physical systems whose storage capacity, computing power are grouped together to behave as on single storage system .
To access the collected information for storage system groups:
- Select the Infrastructure option in the Explore menu, and then the Storage Systems in the Infrastructure Summary section.
- Select a storage system from the list.
- Select a Storage Device and then click the Storage System Group link in the Infrastructure section.
The table below lists the storage system group information as discovered and displayed in the BMC Discovery console.
Storage System Group Information | Description |

Name | The name of the storage system group. |
Type | The type of the storage system group. |
Total Capacity | The total capacity of the storage system. |
Storage Systems | The storage systems that make up this group. |
Managed By | The vCetner Cluster which manages this Storage System Group. |
File Systems Information

The total number of file systems associated with a storage entity is displayed on the Storage System page.This section provides information about the file systems for the selected storage system.
To access the collected information for file systems, click the File Systems link available in the Storage System Group page.
The table below lists the File Systems Information as discovered and displayed in the BMC Discovery.
File System Information | Description |

Filesystem Name | The name of the file system. |
Kind | The file system kind. |
Type | The type of the file system. |
Used | The space used on the file system in bytes. |
Free | The space available on the file system in bytes. |
Free Percentage | The File System free percentage. |
Storage System Group | Name of the storage system group for this file system. This is also a link to the Storage Systems Group page. |
Mounted As | The list of links to remote network file system. |
Disk Drives Information
This section provides information about the disk drives for the selected storage system.
To access the collected information for disk drives, click the Disk Drives link available in the Storage System page.
The table below lists the Disk Drives Information as discovered and displayed in the BMC Discovery console.

Size | The size of the disk drive. |
