Veritas Storage Foundation

We have been asked by a number of organizations to assist with Symantec Veritas license audits. Veritas products, in particular Storage Foundation provide a challenge from an audit perspective for two reasons:

1) it has a license key file.
 2) it is a bundle of products, some of which can be purchased stand alone.

In the case of Storage Foundation there are 8 different product editions each comprising of a different set of bundled products. For example Storage Foundation comprises of: Veritas Volume Manager and File System whereas Storage Foundation Cluster File System comprises of: Veritas Volume Manager, Cluster Server and File System.
