In TKU March 2012 Apache WebServers pattern has been updated to support website Software Components modeling. This option is configurable. When enabled the Software Instance has the following view:
In order to model Software Components for websites the pattern reads Apache configuration file (httpd.conf) and extracts the following website attributes from it:
- website' name
- website' aliases
- website' IP addreses
- website' listening ports
- listening TCP sockets
The following example shows website's Software Component, which holds all those attributes within:
