In the Spotlight December 2009

In TKU December we focused our efforts on perfecting our model for a BMC product family: Control-M.

Newly supported products from this family include: Enterprise Manager, Forecast, and Business Process Integration. Plus, there was a substantial update to our Control-M Server pattern.

We are going to use this month's Spotlight page to showcase our new model for the Control-M 3 Tier architecture: Enterprise Manager, Server, and Remote Agents.

For a complete list of the released patterns, please consult this page.

BMC Control-M 3 Tier architecture

The 3 tiers of Control-M - Enterprise Manager, Servers, and Remote Agents - are all communicating with each other, in order to systematically handle the batch job processing.

Atrium Discovery models these relationships, its Software Instances, and the Database Server supporting Enterprise Manager. Relationships to Databases supporting the individual Control-M Servers are scheduled to be modeled in a future TKU release.
