Increase Speed and Accuracy of Symantec Veritas License Audits
The April TKU releases introduces a new pattern for discovering Storage Foundation for Windows and an enhanced NetBackup pattern, both provide detailed discovery of license key attributes.
Storage Foundation for Windows
This new pattern discovers instances of Storage Foundation along with license key attributes such as Enabled Options, Edition, License Type, License Key and Expiry Date.
NetBackup Options
The enhanced Symantec Veritas NetBackup pattern now has more versioning methods: registry method on Windows platform and using active command, configuration file and package versioning on Windows and Unix platforms. In addition new features of Foundation 7.2 have been applied to discover all activated NetBackup options and agents, license key and expiry date.
