In TKU December 2011 some significant updates were made of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Pure Internet Architecture

Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Pure Internet Architecture consists of two principal components: an Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Application Server and a Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Web Server

The Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Application Server creates a client server link to the relevant Oracle Database Server Software Instance and Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Web Server

The Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Web Server creates a dependency link to the BEA WebLogic Application Server Software Instance

A second order Software Instance is created with details of the Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Application Server, the Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Web Server and the Oracle Database Server
