Product content TKU 2023-Oct-2

Technology-Knowledge-Update-TKU-2023-Oct-2 contains additional product content for the 20.08, 21.05, 21.3, 22.1, 22.2, 23.1, and 23.3 versions of BMC Discovery.

Product content updates require appliance restart

This TKU release contains product content additions. The appliance is restarted when product content is added to the update. You can prevent the restart, but none of the knowledge content will be installed if you do so.

STORAGE: Added support for the discovery of Dell EMC SC Series through REST API. For more details, see (DRDC1-20997) and the documentation here.
STORAGE: Added the discovery of the node ID value as a Storage System serial value found through the REST API call. For more details, see (DRDC1-21768) and the documentation here.

Defects

The following defects are fixed within the scope of this release:

TOOLS: Fixed an issue in the tw_support_tool script with an incorrect last compact date. For more details, see (DRDC1-21715).

STORAGE: Fixed an issue with an empty value of port WWN with SANnav. For more details, see (DRDC1-21828).
