Product content TKU 2023-Dec-1

Technology-Knowledge-Update-TKU-2023-Dec-1 contains additional product content for the 21.05, 21.3, 22.1, 22.2, 23.1, and 23.3 versions of BMC Discovery.

Product content updates require appliance restart

This TKU release contains product content additions. The appliance is restarted when product content is added to the update. You can prevent the restart, but none of the knowledge content will be installed if you do so.

STORAGE: Replaced allocated_capacity by total_consumed_capacity in StorageSystem (for HP3PAR and IBM Storwize). For more details, see (DRDC1-22223) and the documentation here and here.
STORAGE: Updated the NAA ID for PureStorage FlashArray (REST API scan). For more details, see (DRDC1-22089) and the documentation here.
STORAGE: We can now scan NetApp storage systems through the NetApp UM Active IQ system by using REST APIs access only. For more details, see (DRDC1-21951) and the documentation here.

Defects

The following defects are fixed within the scope of this release:

CLOUD/AZURE: Fixed an issue with missing relationships between clusters and virtual machines. For more details, see (DRDC1-22123).
CLOUD/OCI: Fixed an issue with an OCI instance incorrectly reported as "QEMU" instead of "Oracle". For more details, see (DRDC1-22075).
STORAGE: Fixed an issue with an incorrect Netmask for IP addresses. For more details, see (DRDC1-22105).
STORAGE: Fixed an issue with the BMC CMDB synchronization between IP Address and Network Interface. For more details, see (DRDC1-22043, DRDC1-22081, DRDC1-22083).
VAULT: Fixed an issue with the CyberArk credential type. For more details, see (DRDC1-22239).
