Product Content TKU 2023-May-1

Technology-Knowledge-Update-TKU-2023-May-1 contains additional product content for the BMC Discovery 12.0, 20.08, 21.05, 21.3, 22.1, 22.2, and 23.1 series.

Product content updates require appliance restart

This TKU release contains product content additions. The appliance is restarted when product content is added to the update. You can prevent the restart, but none of the knowledge content will be installed if you do so.

CLOUD/AWS: Enhanced the AmazonWebServices.CloudFormation.LinkResources pattern to avoid cloud scan stuck. For details, see (DRDC1-20766).
PATTERNS: Added support for ‘InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance (IWSVA)’ UNIX appliances by Trend Micro. For details, see (DRDC1-15393).
NETWORK DEVICES: Enhanced synchronization of a NetworkDevice related to two HardwareComponent. For details, see (DRDC1-21128).
NETWORK DEVICES: Updated approach to get Hardware Component vendor. For details, see (DRDC1-21140).
NETWORK DEVICES/CISCO ACI: Added filter to the API request to return the sub-classes required for processing in the Cisco_ACI pattern. For details, see (DRDC1-20996).
HOSTINFO: Updated getHostInfo script for Solaris. For details, see (DRDC1-21092).

Defects

The following defects were fixed within the scope of this release:

STORAGE: Fixed the issue when Storage Device was not created for NetApp E-Series EF570. For details, see (DRDC1-21151).

Discovery commands are unchanged in Product Content 2023-May-1.
