Product content TKU 2022-March-1

Technology-Knowledge-Update-TKU-2022-Mar-1 contains the following additional product content for BMC Discovery 12.0, 20.08, 21.05, 21.3, and 22.1.

Product content updates require appliance restart

When product content is added, the appliance is restarted as part of the update. You are given the opportunity to prevent the restart, though if you do so, none of the knowledge content will be installed.

Feature updates

The following features were updated or introduced in Product Content 2022-Mar-1: 

  1. CORE/OUTPOST: remove Whatfix from product content. For details see (DRUD1-36279)
  2. CLOUD/AWS: Add support for API Gateway API v2. For details, see (DRDC1-17471).
  3. CLOUD/Alibaba: support scan with Proxy. For details see (DRDC1-18435).
  4. Customization of API Providers on kubernetes.json file. For details see (DRDC1-18345).

Defects

The following defects were fixed in Product Content 2022-Mar-1: 

  1. STORAGE: EMC Powerstore heuristic issue. Fixed. For details see (DRDC1-18454).
  2. STORAGE: SolidFire heuristic issue. Fixed. For details see (DRDC1-18458).
  3. API Provider: AttributeError: APIProviderSession' object has no attribute '_lock. Code fix. For details, see (DRDC1-18333).
  4. SOFTWARE: Inconsistent VirtualMachine "stat" attribute naming. Fixed. For details see (DRDC1-17735).
  5. TLS Certificates: ILO TLS certificates not seen in the UI. Fixed. For details (see DRDC-18486).
