Product Content TKU 2022-Oct-1

Technology-Knowledge-Update-TKU-2022-Oct-1 contains the following additional product content for the BMC Discovery 12.0, 20.08, 21.05, 21.3, 22.1, and 22.2 series.

Warning

Product content updates require appliance restart

This TKU release contains product content additions. When product content is added, the appliance is restarted as part of the update. You are given the opportunity to prevent the restart, though if you do so, none of the knowledge content will be installed.

Feature updates

The following features and enhancements are introduced within the scope of this release: 

  1. CLOUD/AWS: Amazon Keyspaces inventory pattern. For details see, (DRDC1-19758).
  2. CLOUD/AWS: Amazon Route 53 inventory pattern. For details see, (DRDC1-17040).
  3. CLOUD/AWS: Handle Tuples in CloudFormation template response. For details see, (DRUD1-36169).
  4. CLOUD/GOOGLE: GCP Firebase Realtime inventory pattern. For details see, (DRDC1-19755).
  5. STORAGE: Enhanced linkage between Hyper-V VM and the physical storage it provides. For details see, (DRDC1-19257).
  6. SOFTWARE: Enhanced scanning of Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure. For details see, (DRDC1-19580).
  7. PRODUCT: Upgraded the OCI library to the latest version. For details see, (DRUD1-38622).

Defects

The following defects were fixed within the scope of this release: 

  1. PRODUCT: The HPE OneView Global Dashboard doesn't have the correct hostname. For details see, (DRDC1-19810).
  2. PRODUCT: Error when processing AWS.CF.GetTemplate request. For details see, (DRUD1-36169).
