To assess the business spending across your multi-cloud environments
Use the tabs on the TrueSight Cloud Cost Control user interface to get a single view of your on-premises and public cloud infrastructure expenditures and utilization and analyze the costs by specific dimensions, as follows:
- Access TrueSight Cloud Cost Control.
- Analyze costs by any or all of the following dimensions:
1. Access TrueSight Cloud Cost Control
Log on to the TrueSight console and click Cloud Cost Control.
The Costs tab of the Summary page is displayed.
Analyze costs by cloud provider
Use the Summary > Costs page to review and analyze the monthly and yearly cloud spending and trends per cloud service provider.
The Summary > Costs page enables you to:
- Get a single-pane view and compare the monthly and yearly costs by cloud provider.
- Easily understand and compare the projected costs for running your infrastructure across public clouds and on-premise infrastructure.
- Understand costing trends and identify cloud providers with the highest costs and plan for change and migration to a lower cost cloud.

Analyze costs by cloud service
Click the By Cloud Service tab.
Use the By Cloud Service page to break down cloud costs by cloud services to get a quick summary and to perform a detailed analysis of your costs by cloud service.

The By Cloud Service page enables you to:
- Identify and analyze the cloud services that need to be optimized.
- Analyze and investigate the cost of a cloud service.
- View detailed bill (bill line items) for every cloud service.
- View and compare the monthly cloud costs by cloud service category and cloud service and all the resources that a cloud service uses.

Analyze costs by business service
Click the By Business Service tab.
Use the By Business Service page to review and analyze the infrastructure operational expenses of the business services. The page provides a quick summary view of the infrastructure costs. You can drill down into a specific business service to track the monthly and forecasted annual costs, ensuring operational budgets are adhered to.

Analyze costs by server
Click the By Server tab.
Use the By Server page to review and analyze a summary of the monthly expenses per server. You can further analyze the cost details of a specific server.

- Reduce infrastructure costs with visibility into expenditures and utilization.

To analyze your multi-cloud costs by custom dimensions such as CPU utilization, resource type, region, use the Explore page.
