Integrating with BMC Helix AIOps

BMC Helix AIOps is an AI/ML-based platform that provides real-time, 360-degree visibility of your complete IT infrastructure. It analyzes data from multiple sources, identifies patterns, predicts potential problems, and helps remediate problems before they cause service disruptions in your environment.

With the integration between BMC Helix Continuous Optimization and BMC Helix AIOps, you can view Future Capacity Risk indicators for business services directly in the BMC Helix AIOps Services user interface. These indicators are provided by BMC Helix Continuous Optimization and display a risk score based on forecasted capacity. This helps you identify services that might require proactive intervention. For more information about indicators, see Indicators used in the Business Services view.

You can cross-launch from the Future Capacity Risk panel in BMC Helix AIOps to the Business Service Details page in BMC Helix Continuous Optimization for more detailed analysis and capacity planning.

To use the Future Capacity Risk integration, make sure that BMC Helix Continuous Optimization and BMC Helix AIOps are available on the same tenant.

Important

The Future Capacity Risk indicator is shown only when the following conditions are met:

  • You have the Optimize license entitlement.
  • The business service exists in BMC Helix Continuous Optimization and has the relevant risk and usage score data.

If these conditions are not met, the indicator displays N/A.
