25.4 enhancements and patches
BMC Helix applies upgrades as described in the BMC Helix Upgrade policy. BMC Helix applies upgrades and patches during Maintenance windows..
25.4.01
Collect network device data from BMC Helix Network Management
Collect network device metrics from BMC Helix Network Management and import them into BMC Helix Continuous Optimization by using the Remote ETL Engine (REE). The system retrieves object relationships, tag data, configuration data, and performance metrics from BMC Helix Network Management sites and prepares them for processing in BMC Helix Continuous Optimization.

Support for configuring cloud ETL migration behavior
Use the migrate.cloud.etls.to.generic.scheduler migration ate to migrate cloud ETLs from TrueSight Capacity Optimization to run on the Generic Scheduler in BMC Helix Continuous Optimization. This enhancement provides improved control over scheduler selection and simplifies proxy management during migration.
For more information, see

Support for configuration proxy settings during migration
Use the proxy configuration parameters to run the migration tool through a proxy server. This enhancement provides improved connectivity flexibility and supports secure network environments during migration.
For more information, see Running the migration tool.
Eliminate redundant sub-resources before migration
Perform the pre-migration step to eliminate redundant sub-resources to ensure smoother migration and better BHCO performance. For more information, see Preparing for Migration.

25.4.00
The following video (2:41) provides a high-level summary of the new features and enhancements in version 25.4 of BMC Helix Continuous Optimization.
Support for maximum utilization of key metrics for Azure API Extractor
The Azure API Extractor supports collecting and displaying the maximum, minimum, and average values for key metrics such as MEM_UTIL, CPU_UTIL, TOTAL_LDISK_UTIL, and TOTAL_FS_UTIL. With this capability, you can analyze performance patterns, identify resource bottlenecks, and make data-driven decisions.

Collect and import NVIDIA GPU metrics by using dcgm-exporter scripts
Collect GPU performance and utilization data from NVIDIA GPUs by using dcgm-exporter scripts on the Remote ETL Engine and import it into BMC Helix Continuous Optimization via the Generic – CSV Parser ETL, enabling automated and scheduled collection of GPU data for up-to-date insights into monitoring, trend analysis, and capacity planning. Users can efficiently track GPU usage across multiple hosts, identify potential bottlenecks, and optimize performance for critical workloads.
For more information, see

Servers Overview with Namespace column and updated technology list
The Servers Overview view is enhanced to include a Namespace column that displays the logical grouping or environment of each server. The technology list in this view is also updated to reflect the supported virtual machine types.
For more information, see Server views and Servers Overview view.

Monitor future business service risk with AIOps Service Risk Indicator
The AIOps Service Risk Indicator enables service owners to view predicted risks for business services in BMC Helix Continuous Optimization. This capability helps service owners quickly identify services that may face future capacity risks, assess their potential impact, and take proactive actions to prevent service disruptions.
For more information, see Monitoring service health.
