25.3 enhancements and patches
BMC Helix applies upgrades as described in the BMC Helix Upgrade policy. BMC Helix applies upgrades and patches during Maintenance windows..
25.3.02
Analyze reports by using the Helix Dashboard Reports data mart
Use the Helix Dashboard Reports data mart to analyze reports in your environment. Create custom or summary views to monitor execution status, detect failed reports, and troubleshoot issues quickly, ensuring timely and reliable reporting. Learn more in Managing data marts.
Track ETL performance with the Self Monitoring data mart
Use the Self Monitoring data mart to view loaded data and entities for each ETL process over intervals of 1, 7, and 30 days. Create dashboards and views based on data from the DATASOURCESLOAD business driver to track ETL performance and identify issues early. Learn more in Using the Self Monitoring data mart.
Collect power-related metrics by using the SYSPWR data set
Use the System Power facilities dataset in VMware vCenter ETLs to collect power-related metrics. Learn more in VMware vCenter Extractor Service and VMware - vCenter and ESX Server History Extractor.
25.3.01
Track ETL changes by using the Activity Date
Use the Activity Date column to track when entities with direct metrics were last updated by ETL. It helps validate data freshness and ensures consistency across lookup views.
Learn more in Understanding entity identification and lookup.
Track AWS storage by using Volume ID
Use the collected Volume ID to identify and correlate AWS volumes for accurate tracking of AWS storage and improved capacity planning.
Learn more about these metrics in Entities, lookup information, and metrics for AWS API ETL.
Filter entities and metrics in BHOM ETL
Refine data collection by using additional properties to filter entities, set retry strategies and timeouts, and exclude metrics for targeted analysis and better capacity planning.
Learn more about these properties in BMC Helix Operations Management Extractor.

Collect Azure performance metrics at a 15-minute resolution
The Azure API Extractor supports collecting performance metrics at a 15-minute resolution. When Guest OS diagnostics are enabled, it also collects guest OS metrics from Linux and Windows VMs. This capability provides higher granularity and improved performance analysis.
Learn more about these metrics in
- Microsoft Azure - Azure API Extractor
- Collecting additional metrics using Guest OS diagnostics
- Entities, lookup information, metrics, and API calls for Azure Resource Manager model.
Exclude Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure resources from data import
The extract.azure.deny.vdi.resources property, by default, filters out short-lived Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure resources during data import, helping to avoid data with limited value for historical analysis.
Learn more about this property in Microsoft Azure - Azure API Extractor.
Monitor ETL usage and view installed additional packages with license reports
Gain better control over license consumption with reports that provide detailed ETL usage and a summary of installed additional packages. This capability helps you identify usage patterns and make informed decisions for capacity and license planning.
Learn more about these license reports in Tracking license usage of your environment.
Support for sizing metrics in the Nutanix ETL
Retrieve the vCPU count and datastore usage metrics for Nutanix entities to provide better visibility into resource consumption.
Learn more about these metrics in Entities, lookup information, metrics, and API calls for Nutanix - Prism API Extractor.
Enhanced Storage All-in-One ETL
The Storage All-in-One ETL includes support for HPE Alletra 6000 (REST) and HPE StoreOnce (REST). For details, see Storage - All-in-One Extractor Service.
