UNIX usage metrics


The following usage-related metrics are available for UNIX and Linux systems.

User ID Statistics

User ID statistics in the following table contain one record for each user currently running a process on the system. For each user a separate record for each group the user belongs to will also be included. 


UTMP Statistics

This group contains one record for each person logged on to the system. If a user is logged on multiple times then all logons will be listed. The UTMP Statistics metric group is described in the following table. 


Process Statistics

The Process Statistics metric group is a dynamic table metric group. In a dynamic table metric group, the number of data records in the group can vary from one interval to the next. Each data record in the group represents one process and is comprised of the metrics listed. The metrics are described in the following table. 

Scheduling Policy Info

The Scheduling Policy Info metric group in the following table describes different scheduling policies available on a system.
