KVM Data Explorer view

The KVM Data Explorer view shows the behavior of entity specific performance metrics under fixed and custom time periods.

The Data Explorer views display the resource utilization of key metrics, such as, CPU core clock frequency, Number of CPU cores, CPU Utilization %, Real Memory Utilization %, Memory Utilization %, Total File Systems Utilization %, Real memory.

These metrics are displayed in separate charts. View the data for a specific domain, tag, or time periods by using the corresponding filters. For more information, see Filtering-data-displayed-in-Views.

To access KVM Overview in the navigation pane of , select  Views > Virtualization > KVM > Data Explorer.

From the Host filter, select the host that you want to view data for. Use other filtering options to filter the data. The metrics are categorized based on different profiles and are grouped under separate tabs. Click a tab to view the charts for that profile.

Network Profile

Workload Profile

  • CPU Utilization - Top 10 Workloads
  • Memory Utilization - Top 10 Workloads
  • Response Time - Top 10 Workloads

Command Profile

  • CPU Utilization - Top 10 Commands
  • Number of Processes - Top 10 Commands

User Profile

  • CPU Utilization - Top 10 Users
  • Number of Processes - Top 10 Users

From the Host filter, select the required host and from VM filter, select the required VM. The metrics are displayed in the following profile:

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
