Adding and editing string configuration metrics
To add a string configuration metric
- Select Workspace > Domains, Services & Applications.
- Expand (Domain name) > Systems > (System Type) > Instances.
- Click an instance, and click the Metrics tab in the right pane.
- Click Add configuration metric.
- Click
to select the metric that you want to use as a configuration metric.
- If you select a BY metric, enter the name of the subresource in the Subresource field. The default value is GLOBAL.
The subresource for the metrics whose names do not start with the prefix BY* will be GLOBAL and is not editable. You can enter the subresource only if the selected metric is a BY* metric. - Enter the value.
- Select a date from the date field if you want the metric to be valid from a set date.
To edit a string configuration metric
- Select Workspace > Domains, Services & Applications.
- Expand (Domain name) > Systems > (System Type) > Instances.
- Click an instance, and click the Metrics tab in the right pane.
- From the list of configuration metrics list, click
to select the metric that you want to edit.
You can update only the Value and Valid from fields when you modify the configuration metric. - Enter the new value.
- Select a date from the date field if you want the metric to be valid from a set date. The value field is updated only when the Valid from date is recent as compared to the date that was entered earlier.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
