Editing time filter and time period comparison options for an analysis

The Time filter tab enables you to set, or edit, various time filter-related properties such as, selecting from a list of local or global time filters, defining a custom time filter, and tuning how data is displayed based on a selected time filter.

A dedicated set of properties under Compare with different time period enable you to compare multiple time periods for the same series on the same chart. This helps you to evaluate if the behavior of a key performance indicator is changing over time.

To edit time filter and time period comparison options for an analysis

To edit properties related to time filters and time period comparisons for an analysis, do the following:

  1. Navigate to Workspace > Domains, Services & Applications > Domain > Works.
  2. Click on an Analysis you want to modify time filters or time period comparison options for. The analysis details page is displayed on the right.
  3. Click Edit. The Edit analysis page is displayed.

  4. Expand the Time filter tab and set the following properties:

  5. Click Save, or continue with Chart Options.
