Instance Types page in the OpenStack view


The Instance Types tab enables you to see the resource usage by flavor at the cloud level which gives a clear idea of how the resources in the cloud are being utilized. For example, you can see spare VMs by a flavor of choice for all the cloud infrastructure elements.

The Instance Types page in the OpenStack view displays information for all types of hosts available, including parameters such as CPU, storage, and memory.

You can access this page in the Views tab using one of the following ways:

  • Select Views > Cloud > OpenStack and click the Instance Types tab
  • In the OpenStack > Cloud page, navigate to the Related Information panel and click the Instance Types link.

The Instance Types table lists the following information for each Instance Type in the selected cloud. 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
