NT Paging File Statistics


The NT Paging File Object displays information about the System Page Files. Paging files store pages of memory, not contained in other files, that are used by the process. Since paging files are shared by all processes, lack of space in paging files can prevent other processes from allocating memory.

Usage

Percent of Page File instance in use.

  • %/Interval - Percent of Page File instance in use during the last measurement interval.
  • % Change - Percent change in the percent of Page File instance in use.
  • %/Sec - Percent of Page File instance in use per second.
  • % (default) - Percent of Page File instance currently in use.

Usage Peak

Percent of peak usage of Page File instance.

  • %/Interval - Percent of peak usage during the last measurement interval.
  • % Change - Percent change in the percent of peak usage.
  • %/Sec - Percent of peak usage per second.
  • % (default) - Current percent of peak usage.
