Server page in the Servers Overview view

The Server page displays CPU, memory, storage, and file system utilization information about physical servers that belong to a particular domain.

Servers table

The Servers table lists all physical servers in the selected domain. Each row corresponds to a physical server and shows the following information. By default, some columns are hidden. You can show or hide columns using the action menuaction_menu.pngthat is located next to the EC2 instances table title. You can sort columns in tables alphabetically, or by size. For more information, see Managing-charts-and-tables-in-Views.

Detailed information about a server

To view details of the required server, click name of the server in the Server table. The following details are displayed on the Server Details page:

Section or Panel

Description

General details section

General server details, such as name, type and description are displayed.

Related Information panel

Displays other information related to the selected server.

See Servers-Data-Explorer-view for more information on the following links:

  • File system details
  • File system profile
  • Workload Profile
  • Command Profile
  • User Profile
  • CSET Profile

Tags panel

Displays tags, if any, that are associated with the server.

Cross Launch panel

Only displayed for systems that are monitored by the PATROL Agent.

  • Open Dashboard: The Open Dashboard option allows you to view the device details in BMC Helix Dashboards
  • Show in Operations Management: The Show in Operations Management option allows you to view the device details and hierarchy in BMC Helix Operations Management.

Summary tab

The Summary tab, that is displayed by default, displays details for the selected server in a horizontal summary table, as well as charts.
Core metrics for the selected entity are displayed as analysis charts, depending on available data. At the bottom of each chart is a link that takes you to the Data Explorer view for the specific resource type, and displays charts and information for a larger set of metrics. To return to this page, click the arrow back_to_capacity_pools.pngicon on the top-right side in the Data Explorer tab.

ImportantThe data displayed in Data Explorer view charts for any resource part of this view category, is based on the time filter that is applied to the primary view in this tab. You can select Advanced time periods (other than default/basic) from the Data Explorer view for the selected resource, to view charts over a different time resolution.

For more information, see Servers-Data-Explorer-view.

Configuration Details tab

Displays the configuration metrics for the selected server.
