Starting the Maintenance Tool

This topic describes how to locate and start BMC Helix Continuous Optimization Maintenance Tool.

To start the Maintenance Tool

  1. On the computer where you installed Gateway Server, browse to the product installation directory. The default location is:
    • On Microsoft Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\BMC Software\Patrol3
    • On UNIX: /opt/bmc/Patrol3
  2. Run the utility. It opens by default on the Logs tab.
    • On Microsoft Windows: Double-click the file BPAMaintenanceTool.cmd.
    • On UNIX and Linux: Type the command, ./BPAMaintenanceTool.sh and press Enter.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
