Managing tags

A tag is a text label associated with Domains, Systems and Business Drivers in BMC Helix Continuous Optimization. Tags enable you to search for entities, and create entity filters that will list all the entities matching a particular tag pattern. You can group multiple tags of same type using a tag type. For example tags for operating systems can be grouped using OS as the tag type. You can create a tagging rule to automatically add tags to the required entities.

Navigate to Administration > Tag Management to perform the following tasks:

  • View and activate or deactivate the available tagging rules
  • Create and manage custom tagging rules
