Adding and editing string configuration metrics

You can define configuration metrics for an entity from the Workspace for string metrics. This can be a textual value that indicates a configuration detail that does not frequently change, such as, region name, type of storage, location. You can add and edit configuration metrics for systems, business drivers, and domains.

Before you begin

Make sure that the administrator has completed all prerequisites tasks to view and edit data configured in the extractors. For more information, see Out-of-the-box-ETLs.

To add a string configuration metric

  1. Select Workspace > Domains, Services & Applications.
  2. Expand (Domain name) > Systems > (System Type) > Instances.
