Pools page in the Storage Systems view


The Pools page in the Storage Systems view enables you to quickly obtain any information about the storage pools available in your environment and to identify saturation risks. 

To access the page, in the Helix Continuous Optimization Dashboard, click Capacity Views > Storage > Storage Systems, and in the Storage Systems page, click the Pools tab.

Metrics per storage pool are displayed in a tabular format.

By default, some columns are hidden. You can show or hide columns using the action menuaction_menu.pngthat is located next to the table title.

Each row in the table represents a storage pool and displays the following metrics:



To view details for a specific storage pool

To view the details page for a particular storage pool, click its (hyper-linked) name under the Storage Pool column.

The details page displays information for the selected storage pool under the following sections or panels:

Section or Panel

Description

Summary page

A quick summary of all the capacity information available for the storage pool.

Configuration Details page

Configuration information about the storage pool. The information displayed in this page depends on the configuration data metrics available in the entity. They are described in the ETL User Documentation.


To view related information

The Related Information panel located at the top of the view, next to the Tags panel in the storage system details page contains the following links:


To find a specific storage pool or storage system

Use the sorting and filtering options on the page to find a specific storage pool or storage system.  For more information, see Using Filtering Options in Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard.

To find storage pools that are at a risk of being saturated

Use the sorting and filtering options on the page to identify storage pools that are at a risk of being saturated. For more information see Using Filtering Options in Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard.
