What-if events for a time forecasting model scenario

Add what-if events to a time forecasting model scenario to predict changes in the model behavior due to planned or unplanned events, such as hardware or system upgrades. For more information, see Adding-what-if-events-to-a-time-forecasting-model-scenario.

Analyze the supported growth of business drivers

Analyze the extent to which your current infrastructure can support the growth of each business driver that is associated with a business service. Drill down for in-depth analysis of each business driver. For more information, see Business-Services-view.

Create a summary data mart to extract data from domains

Create a summary data mart to extract configuration metrics from domains apart from systems and business drivers. You can also configure the following additional statistics for summary data mart columns:

  • Count of collected samples to identify data gaps
  • Percentile 99 for utilization metrics

Install Remote ETL Engine by using an authenticated proxy

Added the ST_VOLUME_THROUGHPUT_LIMIT configuration metric for the Amazon EBS gp3 volumes.

Support to import data from DELL Entity Unity and Dell EMC PowerFlex.

Added additional metrics for:

  • Namespace and cluster: ST_LIMIT_MAX and ST_REQUEST_MAX
  • Pod workload: HEAPMEM_USED, HEAPMEM_COMMITTED, HEAPMEM_FREE, NONHEAPMEM_USED, NONHEAPMEM_COMMITTED, NONHEAPMEM_FREE, and GC_EVENTS, GC_TIME
    These metrics are available only when the jvm-exporter is used.
  • Clusters and nodes: MEM_REQUST_ALLOCATABLE and CPU_REQUEST_ALLOCATABLE
  • Support to filter applications by using organization names
  • Default polling period is changed to one minute

ETL module enhancements

The following ETL modules are enhanced to support new features and additional metrics:

Added a new ETL, BMC - Helix Operations Management Extractor, to collect configuration and performance data of the devices monitored by the PATROL Agent in BMC Helix Operations Management. Use this ETL to collect metrics from the following entities: 

  • Standalone Linux, Solaris, and Windows hosts
  • Light Weight Protocols 

Added support to import tags that are assigned to vSphere clusters, hosts, and virtual machines.

Enhanced to collect metrics from the guest virtual machines using the Azure Monitor agent.

Enhanced to collect data from pluggable databases.

Enhanced to reduce the number of API calls for relationships.

Added the following enhancements:

  • Reduction in the amount of API calls while querying results from the hit section for the generic, UNIX, and Windows modules.
  • Support for parsing queries from the aggregation section to aggregate results generated in different formats while using the generic module.
  • The Point in time and Search after options to scroll results in the hit section.

Added the following enhancements:

  • Multi-thread support to improve the performance while calling Prometheus APIs.
  • Entity type name in the TAGDAT dataset to enhance reconciling of tags with other virtual machine entities.

Added support to import data for the isolation segment under the Bosh infrastructure.
