UNIX Fair Share Scheduling metrics

The following Fair Share Scheduling (FSS) metric groups are available for UNIX and Linux systems.

SRM Statistics

The SRM Statistics metric group lists Solaris Resource Management statistics. The SRM Statistics metric group supports Fair Share CPU Scheduling in Analyze and Predict, based on the data provided by Solaris Resource Manager as implemented on Solaris 2.7 and Solaris 2.8 only. This metric group is supported only on those platforms and should be collected only on those platforms.

PRM Configuration

The following table describes the HP-UX Process Resource Manager (PRM) Configuration metric group. 

WLM Configuration

The following table describes the IBM Workload Management (WLM) Configuration metric group for the AIX platform. 

FSS Configuration

The following table describes the FSS (Fair-Share Scheduling) Configuration metric group for the Solaris 9 platform and later.
