The virtual machine's unique identification number.

VM Name

The virtual machine's display name.

Disk Name

The virtual disk name.

Disk Type

The virtual disk type. One of the following:

  • Fixed
  • Dynamic
  • Differencing
  • Unknown

Disk Size
Default unit: MB

The current disk size.

Max Disk Size
Default unit: MB

The maximum size this virtual disk can expand to.

In Use

Indicates whether the virtual disk is in use. One of the following:

  • 1 = The virtual disk is in use.
  • 0 = The virtual disk is not in use.

In Saved State

Indicates whether the virtual disk is in a saved state. One of the following:

  • 1 = The virtual disk is in a saved state.
  • 0 = The virtual disk is not in a saved state.

Description

VM ID

The virtual machine's unique identification number.

VM Name

The virtual machine's display name.

Guest FQDN

The guest's fully qualified domain name.

Guest OS

The guest operating system running on the virtual machine, if available.

Creation Time

The time at which the virtual system or snapshot was created.

Primary Owner

The name of the primary system owner, if available.

Primary Owner Contact

Contact information for the primary system owner, if available (for example, a phone number or an e-mail address).

Enabled State

The state of the virtual system. One of the following:

  • Unknown
  • Enabled
  • Disabled
  • Paused
  • Suspended
  • Starting
  • Snapshotting
  • Saving
  • Stopping
  • Pausing
  • Resuming

Num Cpus

The total number of virtual processors allocated to the virtual system or snapshot.

Cpu Usage
Default unit: %

The current processor usage of the virtual system. Not available for a virtual system snapshot.

Mem Usage
Default unit: MB

The current memory usage of the virtual system. Not available for a virtual system snapshot.

Mem Size
Default unit: MB

The total amount of memory allocated to the virtual machine.

Mem Block Size
Default unit: KB

The virtual machine's memory block size.

Mem Limit
Default unit: MB

The maximum amount of memory that can be consumed by the virtual system.

Mem Reservation
Default unit: MB

The amount of memory resources reserved for use by the virtual system.

Mem Weight

An integer between 0-1000 that indicates the weight for each virtual machine.
After all memory reservations have been met, any remaining memory of the hosting platform is allocated to the virtual systems based on their relative weights, but not to exceed the virtual machine's Mem Limit.

Cpu Limit

The maximum amount of CPU resources (0-10000) that can be consumed by the virtual system.

Cpu Reservation

The amount of CPU resources (0-10000) that are reserved for use by the virtual system.
These resources are guaranteed to be available for consumption by the virtual system.

Cpu Weight

The weight (0-10000) for each virtual machine CPU.
After all CPU reserves have been met, the remaining physical processor capacity of the hosting platform is allocated to the virtual systems based on their relative weights.

Process ID

The identifier of the process under which this virtual machine is running.
This value can be used to uniquely identify the instance of Vmwp.exe on the system that is running the virtual machine.

Uptime
Default unit: seconds

The amount of time since the virtual system was last booted. Not valid for a virtual system snapshot.

OnTime
Default unit: seconds

The total up time since the virtual machine was last turned on, reset, or restored.
This time excludes the time the virtual system was in a Paused state.
