Viewing alert log messages


Use the Alert log page to view log messages that are generated by the Optimizer rules.

To access this page, click Administration > OPTIMIZER > Alert log.

The Alert log table displayed on the page lists the following details for all the alerts:

Click search_icon.png to view a table that provides a list of alert entities and alert reason for the error (red) and warning (yellow) alert logs. For more information, see alertdetail.

You can filter the alert log messages based on the following alert log types and time period:

  • Show error: Show log messages of type Error.
  • Show warning: Show log messages of type Warning.
  • Show good: Show log messages of type Good.
  • Display alert logs for: Select a time period, such as, All, Today, Last 7 days, from the list for which to display alert logs.

To view alert entity details

To view details about all domains and entities that are impacted by an Optimizer rule, click image2013-7-12 16_7_53.png in the last column of the rule in the Alert log table.

The <Optimizer rule name> page displays the following information:

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
