Ability to configure discounts on the catalog cost of cloud resources
As a Tenant Admin user, you can now configure discounts on the original catalog cost of the cloud resources by using the Discount Settings option. BMC Helix Cloud Cost considers the discounts received from the cloud providers to calculate the original cost of the resource; and then uses this cost to offer discounts to the customers. For details, see Configuring-the-budget-and-discount-settings.
New connector to import cost data from TrueSight Capacity Optimization
The new TrueSight Capacity Optimization connector enables you to collect your on-premises cost data from TrueSight Capacity Optimization. This connector allows you to manage your budgets, forecasts, and other IT expenditures that are spread across on-premises and cloud vendors. For details, see TrueSight-Capacity-Optimization-connector.
Service Principal support for Azure connector
The Azure connector now supports role-based access control by using Azure Service Principal. Access to the Azure resources is restricted by the roles that are assigned to the service principal, giving you control over which resources can be accessed and at which level. For details, see Microsoft-Azure-cloud-connector.
