Using filters


Filters provides an ability to filter the data based on business needs. Use the  

  • Filter_Month.png
  • Filter.pngoptions on the Dashboard to filter Accounts, Cloud Services, or Region. You can apply filters on Provider, Account, Region individually or a combination of them based on filtering needs.

For example, You can apply filter to retrieve data for a specific provider ID, such as AWS & AZURE.

Multiple Filters

You can use multiple filters simultaneously, but only one each from every filter available. For example, you can filter data using Account Name, Cloud Service, and Region.


Selecting Time Range

You can filter the data by selecting a Month to view any particular month data. By default, the current month data is displayed in all tabs. Duration is considered from start of the month till the cost data available in that month for the current month and total number of days for previous months.

Data filtering

  1. Click Filter.png.
  2. Select one of the following depending on the data that you want to filter:
    • Account Name: Displays the resources, services, and resource pools that is associated with the account that owns the resource.
    • Cloud Service: Displays the resources, accounts, and resource pools that is associated to the Cloud service name specified in the Value field.
    • Region: Displays the resources, accounts, services, and resource pools that is associated to the region specified in the Value field.
  3. Condition - Select a condition to narrow down the search.
  4. Value - Enter a corresponding value assigned to the chosen conditional expression.
  5. Click Done.
  6. From the Filters list, you can select another criteria and click Apply.

Specific account name

Only resources, services, and resource pools that are associated with the account specified in the Value field are displayed. Specified Value must be the exact account name if Condition is set to equals.

does not equal

Specific account name

Only resources, services, and resource pools that are not associated with the account provided in Value field are displayed. Specified Value must be the exact account name if Condition is set to does not equal.

empty

Keyword

Only resources, services, and resource pools that are associated with the account that contains the keyword provided in Value field are displayed.

does not contain

Keyword

Only resources, services, and resource pools that are associated with the account that do not contain the keyword provided in Value field are displayed.

begins with

Keyword

Only resources, services, and resource pools that are associated with the account that begins with the keyword provided in Value field are displayed.

ends with

Keyword

Only resources, services, and resource pools that are associated with the account that ends with the keyword provided in Value field are displayed.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
