Managing credentials
This page is useful for the following users:
- Cloud Cost Admin - This user should be able to provide/view/delete the credentials which can be stored securely and used for the purpose of automation usecases.
- Cloud Cost Operator - This user should be able to view the credentials pre-created by the Admin and can use it for further automation usecases.
Use the Credentials page to manage the credentials for a particular user.
Adding a Credential
- Click
and select Credentials. - Click Add Credentials.
- In the Create Credential page, enter the details for the following fields:
Name of the Field | Description |
|---|---|
Name | Name with which the credential will be stored. |
Provider | Cloud Service Provider can be AWS/GCP/Azure. Currently only AWS is supported. |
Account ID | Account ID information pertaining to the credential. |
Access Key | AWS Access key associated with the AWS Account. |
Secret Access Key | AWS secret key associated with the AWS Account. |
Trust Account | Trust Account associated with the AWS Account. |
Editing a Credential
To edit the credential, click the credential name, and edit the details.
Deleting a Credential
- To delete a credential, select the required credential and click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
