Managing Credentials
A Cloud Cost administrator and an operator can use the the credentials page to manage the credentials for a specific user. A Cloud Cost administrator can create, view, and delete the credentials of users. The credentials can be stored securely and can be used for automation use cases. A Cloud Cost operator can view the credentials that are created by the administrator, and can use the credentials for further automation use cases.
Adding a credential
- Click Configure icon
and select Credentials.
- Click Add Credentials.
- On the Create Credential page, enter the following details:
- Name with which the credential will be stored.
- Name of the cloud service provider. Currently only AWS provider is supported.
- Account ID related to the credential.
- Access key associated with the AWS account.
- Secret key associated with the AWS account.
- Trust account associated with the AWS Account.
Editing a credential
To edit the credential, click the credential name, edit the details, and click Update.
For security reasons, you must re-enter the Secret Access Key each time you update any information on the Edit Credential page. The Update button is enabled after you re-enter and save the secret access key.
Deleting a credential
- To delete a credential, select the required credential and click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
